First planing for a S-Bahn system for Munich were done by the LAG (Localbahn AG). Plan a north-south link for the suburban railway traffic along the Isar river and its connecting lines of Theodor Lechner from 1900. (click on the pictures for enlargement) |

Form 28.05.1989 until 21.06.1989 a test train for double floor wagons was in service on the S4 (Geltendorf-Ebersberg). The locomotives were DB 120 151 and DB 120 153. The wagons were on loan from the Nederlandse Spoorwegen. |
